Born in Rangoon, BURMA, Lloyd migrated to Perth W.A. in 1971 and moved to Sydney in 1987. As a freelance drummer, he has performed and recorded professionally with various bands and artists on a local, national and international level.

For the last 28 years Lloyd has been teaching privately at home and at various schools throughout the Sydney metropolitan area. Apart from being freelance, he is also the touring drummer for The Atlantics. Celebrating the 50th anniversary of “Bombora” (no.1 for 18 weeks in 1963). The band has  just returned from a successful tour of Italy, Finland & Greece.
